After a fun and crazy week, look for more routine next week. No field trips and no late starts, but we will have Roundup Assembly Friday, and we do have picture retake day.

Write about Max and Tamir, stars of the week for the 14th and 21st, respectively.
Learn about tally marks, and compare different ways of notating numbers.
Work on our "Texture Animals" art project (thank you parents for the cool ovals...).
Focus on the Letter A.
Begin blending sounds together, particularly the letters M, A, and T.
Learn the song Do-Re-Mi from the Sound of Music.
In the long term, look forward to our costume parade and grandparents and special friends day on Thursday, October 31. The fun lasts from 8:00 to about 10:00.
