Another week in kindergarten

Here are some highlights for the week of December 7.

Be sure to plan for next week's late start on Wednesday, December 16.  Everything will be two hours late.

Last Friday morning we had a visit from Tasha Miller, a Chapman parent and fine jazz singer.  We had an impromptu music lesson and concert.  We are extraordinarily lucky to have so many artists and musicians in the Chapman community.

Our class continues to grow.  We are very happy to have Nyree join us!

Thank you again to our volunteers.  It is always a treat to have parents here to help with centers and math.

This week in kindergarten

Here is some (belated) info about our week..

Thank you to everyone who helped with our Thanksgiving art project last Wednesday.  Putting lots of paint on children's hand is a scary prospect -- it went wonderfully, thanks to our volunteers.

Speaking of volunteers, our December Calendar is up and ready.  Feel very free to sign up.  We especially need help on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

With three full weeks of school of school, this is a wonderful time for us to focus on reading, academics, and fun.

Thank you to everyone who brought in snacks!  We still are running a little low...
