1) No strike
2) Early release at 11:45. Buses should be 2 1/2 hours ahead of schedule.
3) We will have lunch at school before we go.
4) Everything back to normal on Thursday

Just in case you have
not heard the encouraging news, I will share it with you now. Portland
Public Schools and the Portland Association of Teachers have come together with
a tentative contract agreement. At this point there is every indication
that there will be no strike. I would like you to know that across the
district, due to timing, an early release is still planned for tomorrow.
All Chapman students will be released, after an early lunch, at 11:45.
Buses will run their regular routes 2.5 hours early. School will
resume Thursday at its regular time. Thank you so much for your patience.
